Sixers coach Collins fined for verbal abuse of official

NEW YORK -- Philadelphia 76ers head coach Doug Collins has been fined $15,000 for verbal abuse of an official, it was announced Monday by Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President Basketball Operations.

The incident occurred at the conclusion of the 76ers' 109-106 overtime win against the Indiana Pacers on April 21 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
