Going Retro: Orlando Magic
The Orlando Magic will be celebrating 15 years in the NBA by wearing retro uniforms from the 1988-89 season, part of the NBA's Hardwood Classic nights. We've taken a fashionable look back at some of the past uniforms the teams have worn in their history.

Expansion Stars
Coming into the league in 1988, the Magic debuted with pin stripes and two big stars on the front of the jersey. The main star substituted for the letter "A" in "Magic." The franchise's original draft pick, Nick Anderson, wore the stripes for 10 seasons. |

Road Black, White Stripes
The original Magic road uniform turned the pinstripes onto a black background and swapped "Magic" for "Orlando," keeping the star logo in place of the letter "A." Scott Skiles ran the point in these duds. |

Solid
In 1998, the Magic dropped the pin stripes altogether, moving to a cleaner look while keeping the "Magic" with the stars in the name. Horace Grant ranks third all-time in rebounds for the Magic. |

Magic Men
The Magic debuted new uniforms this year. Getting away from the starry, starry look of previous years, this season's model is the cleanest of them all, with a small star at the top of the chest area and expanding stripes down the side. Newcomer Juwan Howard only knows these unis. |

Road Blue
The new road uniform goes back to "Orlando" on the front, in a lighter blue than in previous years. These threads have helped carry Tracy McGrady to second place in the league in scoring.
