New Year's Day on the NBA calender doesn't fall on January 1, it'll be October 30th. And in the basketball world, there is an overwhelming sense of newness this time of the year. With the 2012/13 NBA season primed to tip off, we will see the return of some of our favourite teams and players hoping to carry forward their momentum from last year.
